Volunteer Opportunities

There are many opportunities throughout the school year to volunteer.  You can volunteer as little or as much as you wish.  Just remember that the more volunteers we have, the more enriching your child's experience will be at St. Monica Catholic School.  For the 2010-2011 school year we have several easy ways for you to tell us about your volunteer interests.

1. Download and fill out the "Volunteer Dedication" form. Please return or mail this form to the school office at 4140 Midway Road, Dallas, TX 75229
2. You can also fill out the PTO's simple and convenient online form at our "Contact Us" page - features the same categories found in the printed "Volunteer Dedication" form.
3. If there is a particular PTO organized committee or event that you would like to volunteer for, visit the "Committee Descriptions" page to contact the appropriate committee members. 

Playground and Cafeteria Duty Information

In an effort to maintain the most effective, pleasant and safe lunch time and recess environment for our students we need your help. We are asking that each grade level “adopt-a-month” in which you would be responsible for helping out in the cafeteria and helping the teachers monitor at recess.  The cafeteria runs much smoother with 2 additional helpers to aide Mrs. Corbin.  And with the number of children on the playground at lunch recess, it is vital for the safety of our children to have 3 monitors to help Mrs. Wetzel and the teacher on duty.  Your child’s PTO homeroom grade level rep will be contacting you and asking you to sign up.  Please consider how thrilled your child will be to see you as you are given that “rare inside look” at your child’s day at school.
